Hello Phil,
I've just read your kind offer to help look up info on families from the Whittington nr Lichfield area which is where "my" Callingwoods were around 1690.
6xgt grandfather John Callingwood was born in Whittington in 1693, father William Callingwood. He seems to have siblings Humphrey, Thomas, william and Mary.
John marries unknown and has my 5x gt grandmother Catherine Callingwood around 1735 in Whittington . Catherine later marries Thomas Wetton in Lichfield.
I'd very much like to know an exact date for Catherine's baptism (to confirm John is her father) Also whom John married and any more information about John's father William Callingwood.

Hi Ali, Yes I have William and son John, 1693-1759, and dr Catherine b 1735,who married Thomas Wetton, in 1760 Lichfield on 12 Oct.
They had 4 drs,
Jane,1761-1834, she married Richard Gilbert, b 22 Mar 1761, on 19 Jan 1784, Lichfield.+ 4 boys &1 girl.
Ann, 1764,
Sarah, 1766,
Mary, 1770.Married William Dicken.
The family Home is still occupied, and named Callingwood, and on Back lane corner with Chapel Lane in Whittington, it is occupied by a descendant Anne Hiskins. who I feel sure would like to be in contact with you, just mention my name, Regards, Phil.
