Hello Dan

Good to see there are Searing out there
I would be happy to trade info and details with you, the best way to start the ball rolling is to tell me as much information about you and your descendants.

I know that Searings migrated from England to the US having done some research
it would be ideal to if you can tell me as much as you can I have data dating back and may be able to find a link.

I will be more than happy to trade details
and thanks for contacting me

take care

Hi, Paul, good to hear from you.  Can you go to blog.searingfamily.com?  I run the blog and if you go to the Genealogy portion you will see some Searing information.  I am still connecting some of the lines, so that is not complete, but you should at least be aware the blog is out there.  I very much want to add an international section, and would love to have a contribution by you.  Second, a 5th cousin of mine, Jim Searing, runs a group on Facebook called My Last Name is Searing, and he would be thrilled to have you join if you are on Facebook or if you want to join...I am on there also and it would be another way for us to communicate.  Finally, here is some very brief info on what we know of my English ancestors:
The forefather of the American Searings was John Searing who was born in Hampstead near London in around 1580. He married Jane Badger at St. Savior's church on December 6, 1610. Their son Simon (sometimes spelled Cymon), who was born in 1613, sailed to America around 1640.
This is actually from the Facebook group discussion board.  I believe the names are accurate, but we don't know a whole lot more.  I hope this gets to you...this should be fun...Dan
