Has anyone in Holland got access to the archive at Leiden? I have used the online Leiden archive records to trace my van Der Erf records but am told the online records are not complete. A visit to the archive would help find further generations. But I am in Australia so would not be able to go there any time soon. I am hoping there is a nice Dutch person who lives nearby Leiden who could help search the van der Erf line.
Probable first known ancestor is Pieter van der Erf he married Maria Lisman (They had a son Pieter baptised 7 Jan 1731 mentioned below)
Probably the son bp 1731 is Pieter van der Erf died by 1812 married Martintje Smit bp 2 Jan 1735 d 19 May 1812 in Leiden
And again Probable son
Pieter van der Erf married Susanna van de Waart I can definitely prove this Pieter's connection to me with the online records.
I found among their children a daughter named Martijntje van der Erf married 4 Jun 1818 Cornerlis van der Lelie
I think she was named after Martintje Smit
Can anyone prove this line and take it back further generations?
Hi there, give me a couple of days and I see what I can do with the given information
