Hello,
Trying to locate free bmd records...but none seem to have the record I want, or want to charge me a fee for the priveledge. A certain one, brings up every year bar the one I searched for and it is driving me potty!
Can anyone help find me the record of birth for (*), born August 1956.
In halifax area I think!

That and post approx 1925 freeBMD has not transcribed the records yet, they are getting there but BMD's have to be searched quarter by quarter on places like An**stry or FMP which are pay sites.
If you do not subscribe, your best hope is someone on here with a sub offering to do it and pm you the details as as MIGKY says Living people are not allowed to be named.

Ahhh, kind of explains it then...thanks anyway....doing a family tree for my friend for her birthday, hence why I can't get too much info from her....she thought it odd enough me wanting to know her dad's birthday!
I will subscribe instead...wasn't aware I wasn't to put details of the living on here, as the info is in the public domain anyway....
