Just a quickie hopefully
I have a Julia Davey Mills marrying Redruth 5c, 381 in quarter DEC 1896
Husband is either Wellington or Thomas
Cannot seem to find a Mary (Wellington/Thomas) born in Camborne (I think in 1869)....she could be Minnie perhaps.........
As long as I can ascertain her husband's name
thanks Phil

Hi Phil;
I have found a 1901 entry for William H Wellington - wife Annie They were in Camborne
Although that suggests she married Arthur Thomas - I can't find them in 1901 at the moment to confirm it

Hi Phil,
There is an Arthur THOMAS mining Engineer aged 29 and Mary his wife aged 27 listed as passengers aboard the "Lucania" arriving in New York on the 11 Jan 1897. Their intended destination is listed as Mexico.
Cheers Kris

My Goodness Krise - I'm flabbergasted!!!!! Can't quite work out what made you check this site - Camborne/Redruth was a big mining area, granted.... - quite something.......
truly grateful
Phil
I shall do some searches for other members of the family and those connected
Fantastic many thanks indeed
Phil

Looks like he may have returned to England to marry. His trip was very short.
Arthur THOMAS is listed as arriving Liverpool 27 Nov 1896 aboard the "Campania" from NY
He probably made numerous trips
I note he arrived alone in Plymouth 3 Oct 1923 aboard the Toledo from Tampico Mexico aged 56 Mining Engineer. Address in UK 3 Pendarves Street Tucking Mill Camborne. Same address listed on his arrival in Liverpool 26 Nov 1919 aboard the "Minnedosa" (Aged 52 - mining engineer) He was travelling from Montreal Canada on that trip. Unfortunately the marriage was not in Tucking Mill and the transcriptions for Camborne are only up to 1875.
I am not having any luck with Mary or a marital status for Arthur to see if she is likely still living
Cheers Kris
You are welcome Phil.....All the best with it

Kris - you've done more than enough - i find it hard to grasp that so much travelling was done so long ago!!!
It seems you enjoy searching for/finding these links and I'm grateful for the time you spend.
best wishes to you
