Freebmd has no birth entry for a Harold Thomas Hitchings between 1893-1899.  Where did you get the info from re: his birthyear/birthplace

Is the surname spelt correctly?

If you check the free1901 index on the link below - there is no entry

The only 1901 entry b Birmingham is Harry Hitchcocks aged 5 parents William & Mary J

Who were Harold's parents
