REYNOLDS family of Bradford, Wiltshire

Ft/ Lt William Edwin Reynolds b1914 of the 245 Squadron was shot down in Normandy in 1944. A Military historian in Normandy has asked if it is possible for me to research if there are any living relatives in the UK. 

I have found that his parents were Edwin George and Florence Reynolds  I have found them in the 1881and 1891 census in Bradford, Wlitshire . Edwin had sisters Sarah b 1865 and Beatrice b 1881 and brothers Henry b 1867, Frederick and ?Nelson b 1883. I found Edwin Reynolds age 23 as a Police Recruit living as a boarder in Bradford in 1901 .

Any help most welcome

What was Florence's maiden name?  Unless I'm missing something obvious, I can't spot a marriage between her and Edwin George....

I don't know Florence's maiden name . The information is from the wargraves website as William is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial  . Also the family  are in the 1881/91 censuses.

I don't seem to be having any luck with finding anyone related to this family so far!Perhaps Florence was a middle name ? Any ideas welcome .

Free BMD lists 6 births for a William E REYNOLDS 1913-1914 (all would be aged 30 in July 1944).  These entries give the mother's maiden name, and I haven't found a match for a marriage between any of them and an Edwin REYNOLDS.

There are several Edwin George REYNOLDS who might be William's father - do you have specific information which makes you think it's the Wiltshire one?

I'm wondering whether Florence was Edwin's second wife?   Marriage coverage on Free BMD unfortunately becomes patchy after about 1920.... Sad

I have just found the marriage for Edwin George REYNOLDS and Florence CHAPMAN Index 1908 Q3 Wellington Somerset  . There is a wrong transcription in the index which makes it diffiuclt to link them.

Alos a birth record : BMD Index Edwin George Reynolds b 1878Q2 Bradford upon Avon. Somerset

I have now found them in the 1911 Census at 1 Queens Terrace, Taunton Somerset
Edwin is 33 and a police constable born Bradfornd on Avon, Wilts . Florence is 33 and born in Wilviscombe Somerst

Is there anyone who knows anything about this family?
