Hi Jaz,
Sorry I thought you has access to the census, that's why I only gave the ref number.
1891 Trevithen, Aberscychan, 151 High Street RG12 4362 F125 P25
William Price/H/43/Miner/ Aberscychan. All family born Aberscychan, Mon Susan Price/wife/35 William/son/12 Thomas/son/10 George/son/6 Louisa/dau/3 Charles/son/1 Susan Jones/Niece/17/Gen Servant Possibly this is not the family you found in the 1881, as son John b1880 is missing from this census....was he given the name John William or vice versa at birth? On this census 1891, William looks to be the first son b1879, but I cannot find a William born to Susan and William Price in the 1881
William and Susans gap in age fits with your couple, can you find a connection with the niece Susan Jones?
I had a similar thing with my family in Wales, born Susan became Susannah on all census after marriage, but was buried as Susan. Also their first child changed name after the first mention on a census. ...but I managed to prove it was my family.
Best of luck Ambers

Hi Ambers,
Thank you so much for the information, their son John b.1880 was named after both their fathers and brothers, he may have been John William not sure on this, also not sure on the neice Susan, Susannah`s maiden name was Jones so may be on of her brothers children? food for thought Thank you so much Jaz
