This was the only death I could find in the database which only covers deaths which were registered more than 70 years ago. Privacy laws cover any deaths registered after that.
All certificates listed can be ordered through Manitoba Vital Statistics for $12 per certificate. The form is available at the link above. If you enter the names in the search engine at the site, on the results page there is a button which says "save to cart". After you've chosen all the certificates you wish to order, click on the button to view your shopping cart and the form is ready to print off with all of the registration information included so you just have to print off the form to mail it to Manitoba Vital Statistics.

She is travelling with a Mary Piper, 23 and it indicates they are going to Winnipeg.

The obituary indicates that his parents were Arthur and Phyllis. It says that his parents emigrated from England however Arthur was born in Manitoba but obituaries have been wrong before.
