Hi there,
Can anybody help us? we are trying to trace my mothers family from Dudley and have become stuck on finding any info for a John Newell born 1786 in the East Indies but appears on the 1851 census for Dudley, does anyone have any info on this man? all we have is that he was married to an Ann ( born West Bromwich 1815) and their children were: Henry, John and Mary Melvina. We think they lived at a place called 87 Pack Horse Yard, Birmingham Street, Dudley. Any help such as marriage date, when he came over here etc would be gratefully received.
