Frederick Austen Bedford

I am trying to find a birth place and information for Frederick Austen Bedford.  He was born in Somerset in 1836 to Edward Henry Bedford and possibly Mary Ann Bedford.  However, his mum could be unknown Whelan. I don't know any more about his England history.  He came to Melbourne, Australia about 1856 and died in 1899.

I appreciate any assistance.

The only Frederick BEDFORD I could find that fits your age group was this fellow in Marshfield Gloucestershire.
