HALL of Fenstanton
|
I'm tracing my Hall ancestors in England including siblings. Thanks to an old story in the family, I've finally linked (I believe) Mary Ann HALL, born Fenstanton, Hunts in 1823 to Thomas PACK - I found them together and married in the 1851 census (she born in Fenstanton Hunts). While I had no luck in the UK BMD database, I found a marriage in FamilySearch:
19 AUG 1845 St Peter, Northampton, Northampton, England
I was wondering if anyone had access to this church registry on fiche? I'd like to learn whether it states her origin as being Fenstanton etc. Her sister also married a PACK of Northampton.
Turns out looking at the BMD that the wedding is listed as Year of Registration: 1845 Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep District: Northampton (1837-1923) she as Mary Ann Hall, he being either Thoms Pad_ or Thomas PUC__.
thanks, matt

Thanks Francine, what a ripper!
Mary Ann Hall's dad was indeed William, a shoemaker (and she was of full age) in 1845. St Ives was in the St Ives district of Hunts so I think i've found her.
Many thanks again! cheers, matt
