Marriage Look up - Ballinderry##complete##

Hi there

I am trying to find a marriage between John Madden and Isabella Crone in Ballinderry on 14th July 1870 or possibly 1876.  The last number is not clear on their son's birth certificate (dated 1876).

I am trying to find out if John's father is Charles Madden.

Hi Carol

According to the Emerald Ancestors website this couple married in Magherafelt RC Church, Co Londonderry on 14 July 1870.  Ballinderry civil parish is in Magherafelt district and spans the Co Tyrone/Derry border and was probably where they lived.

What is IGI and where can I find it?
I have found a census entry for the family but need the faher's name to comfirm that this is the right family.
Without subscribing to Emerald Ancesters is there any way I can find this out?

IGI (International Genealogical Index) is part of LDS site (free): www.familysearch.org

Other than ordering the marriage certificate or checking the church records I don't know of any other sources for the record of the marriage.
