There are a number of links at the top of the board for research which may help you. Also, if I can suggest, add as much detail (names, family groups, ages etc.) as you can so that people understand what you already have and can therefore add to your information if they are able to help.

Rutti Tutti, Mother born in Cape Town S.A. nee Eileen Moore 29th August 1918 died in the U.K 1983. Her father died when my mother was a small child. Her mother, maiden name not known, Henrietta J Moore 1902 -19 July 1948 Cape Town S.A. My mother had a brother who died in Claremount S.A. he never left S.A. Bavarian

You will find lotsa very helpful and knowledgeable folk here to help you. 
Firstly, I would suggest that you open up your own Topic, in this South African section of RootsChat, go to New Topic and begin there.
Maybe give your Topic the title, something like this "MEYER FAMILY IN SOUTH AFRICA".
Give as much detail in your post as you possibly can, such as list if you know, where they were born, any date of births, or marriages etc.
Try also looking online in the N.A.A.I.R.S., (SA Archive site), although not complete, you can sometimes find ancestors dates of births, or deaths etc.
