This is where you have to be careful! Just because William is not there does not mean he does not exist. He is not on the records I have. You have 3 couples...they could all have a son William!

For now, all you have is a start of where to look! Lucky for you having a Gibson! Well your brick wall is at least cracking, hope I've helped, good hunting!

Don't know if this is of any help, or indeed in any way linked to the Lowry's you are looking for. My family are from County Down. My great grandfather was called James Lowy (born 1845) and grandmother Mary Ann Lowry (nee Keown).
Let me know as I can supply information about the County Down Lowrys who were all NS Presbyterians.

Not that I'm aware of hallmark, mainly from Killinchy, Downpatrick and Ballee.

OK, thanks.....will have to move on to them soon, they owned the land the airbase was on. I used to play on the runway and in nissan huts......(showing my age now!).
