I have a number of Probates I would like if anyone is going into the office.

Because many of these are so relatively recent, had you looked at whitepages http://yellow.co.nz/whitepages/ for people in locations around where they lived.

Their probates are held in Auckland, not 100% sure where most were living at time of death, some in Rotorua. But most of their descendents may of moved from those areas by now, plus I do not have ll the childrens and grandchildrens names.
Found some in Ashburton, so no worry there, just the North Island clan.

The most important one I am after is Tom Tew, apparently he left all his money to his wife's sister, I would like to see if this is true.

I have found a small cluster of Tew's in Rotorua, they may be family.
So it looks as if I have to write a few letters to unsuspecting cousins.
But I still would like more about Tom Tew and his will if anyone out there is heading into Auckland.

Hello to all
I have sent many letters to people with the surname "Tew" Sadly only two replied and not related.
Also I have the probate of Thomas Tew, I sent for this before Christmas, and was delighted to receive it two days before Christmas.
But if there is anyone out there who may go into the record office at any stage, I would love anymore information on the other ones I have listed.

I have had some progress, with new names and dates over the last few months. Like one other posting I had forgot, I had this one on here. Too close to Christmas and all the rush too much going on.
Still if anyone is able to help at some time that would be great. Otherwise I can say, I am happy with the rescent results that have came my way.
