Baptism - Chesham - John ANDERSON c1799

Hello,

I have a great great grandfather named John Anderson born abt 1799(according to Cavalry Discharge and census) Chesham Buckinghamshire. He joined the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons in 1813 aged 14 yrs.

I am unable to find any reference to his birth/bap.  Can anyone assist please or give advice as to where to search next.
