I'm trying to find an elusive relative Herbert Lake. I know he lived there in 1920, and was hoping there could be some connection with the tenants in 1901.

Sorry I don't have much information about him. I noticed on some census websites you can look up addresses rather than names. I'm currently subscribed to ancestry.co.uk, which unfortunately doesn't have that feature which is annoying.

Thanks for taking a look. Unfortunately there was no address  .
I decided to take a look at Herbert's father - Claud, and find any Lake's on the 1901 census who had an occupation related to the dairy industry, as apparently he set up his own dairy business. I managed to find a Charles Lake who I think may be his father. The marriage certificate I ordered for Herbert and Louisa was directly from Wandsworth council where they are hand written. It made me think that maybe the person misread the fathers name as Claud, when it was actually Charles. Today I ordered the certificate directly from the GRO - so hopefully that will show a bit of a scribble that could be read as Charles!
Anyway I found a Charles Lake, b 1845 NK London living with his mother whom I'm assuming remarried as her name is Sarah Marsh. Charles occupation is listed as a Dairy Foreman, so I feel quietly confident it could be right.
Only found this out today so having a play around now with the records to try and confirm things
