Hi All
I will no longer be posting or assisting on the forum for awhile.
Thank you to the Northants Board and other kind Rootschatters who made my 4 years here enjoyable by assisting them with their Family Histories and they with mine.
The Armed Forces Especially and the Overseas Boards.
I will pop in now and again.
Good luck in your researches.
Sandy

It is indeed a shame , your mom has certainly helped many people and l am sure we all appreciate it as well as her expertise and knowledge. Without Sandy's help l for one would be still facing some of my brickwalls .
Please Sandy, take some time and reconsider your decision, take a break sit back and enjoy Christmas ; then perhaps you can come back to us.
Jean

Morning Son
Thank you for those kind words.
You know I can not handle praise well as due to many here.
I just happened to have a lot of resources at my finger tips which enabled me to assist others when maybe others had taken the time to go to the resources and post later.
You and Milly keep in touch now.
Love Mum xxx

Hi Jean
Thank you so much for what you have written.
Living over the pond assistance this side has been easy to help you with.
I as I said earlier I have had considerable help from folk your way.
I really should have made myself a bit clearer though.
I have made the decision to not post or assist on the forum twofold.
With Christmas coming up I have a lot of Christmas Cards to box and send as making my own they are higher than a normal one you buy in the shops. It is time consuming and there is not much time left.
I also have as some already know here am doing a project on the Northamptonshire Men who lived or died in the 2 World Wars.
This project has been put on the sidelines since I started it quite awhile.
Therefore in the New Year I wish to start collating all the information into some sort of order and dedicate myself to it.
By being able to still access Rootschat which has felt like home the last 4 years I can still ask for assistance if I see anything that could help me with it especially on the Armed Forces Board.
Therefore I can still keep in touch with many of you that I choose.
Have a Really Good Christmas.
Sandy

Newfy thank you also, goodness 4 years have gone so quick.

Sandy:
I was sorry to read your message this morning. Your departure will be such a major loss to the board.
Like scores of others, I will always be grateful for the help you have so willingly provided over the years that has moved my Northants family research further along. I'm sure everyone will join me in hoping that you will reconsider rejoining the board after reflection over the holiday period.
Best regards, rthom
