Hi looking for info on John George Kennedy b~1890 and family/household and who Enlisted  19 Apr 1909 Durham Light Infantry - Residence at time of enlistment was St Mary's Gateshead, Co Durham

Father's or Uncles name might be  Patrick.

Do you know anything else about him?  There are a couple of George Kennedys in Durham, with parents David & Isabella (b. Wrekenton or West Pelton),  James and Phyllis (b.Gateshead), and William & Grace (b.Jarrow)

Unfortunately know not a lot else...the Patrick Kennedy reference was on some of his service records (if I recall correctly...fuzzy brain) as on his leave records (no relation stated).

Have just had a look at his service records, according to the 1909 and the 1914, he was born Feb.1889 Gateshead, not Lanchester area, so that birth reg you've got there probably isn't the right one.

Just found this 1901 census which looks quite good, as his address on enlisting in 1909 was 39 Melbourne St, Gateshead:

I think this may be his parents' marriage registration:

KENNEDY    Patrick  and on same page is Ann SLATTERY

not sure where young John George is yet in 1891, (perhaps with relatives), but here is the above couple:
