I wonder if anyone can look for the following people for me on the 1851 census.
Charles Morgan age 22 b Much Cowarne Susan/ Susannah Morgan wife age 24 b Much Birch
Believe they will be in Much Birch, but if not I know they did move to Hereford itself, Berrington st and West st
Also, Is it possible to look for the following;
Mary Taylor Benjamin Thomas Daniel West
They are witness' at my ancestors marriage (Charles Morgan and Susan Whitney Greenly) which was held in Much Birch in 1848 and as I cannot find a birth for my Charles Morgan at Much Cowarne, I hoped the witnesses or their families may give some clues.
As the names are not uncommon, I think matches for Much Birch and Much Cowarne (where groom was from) will be the only ones of use. I am having to presume the witnesses were local to the couple.
I would really appreciate any help with this.

Kim, Thankyou so much. You are helping me knock down a brickwall, as there is a James Morgan listed with Charles, who must be his brother. That is fantastic news. Also, the witness' info is brilliant. They are older than I was expecting them to be. Perhaps they are friends of Susan/nah's family. Thanks so much for the lookup, I'm off to ring my mom and tell her!!!! regards Francesca

Steve, all that info is fantastic, but you're right about the morgan info throwing up more problems. There is a slim possibility that perhaps catherine could be his mum and remarried someone called ward, but that really is conjecture - still something very much worth checking out.
You probably couldn't find Greenly in 1841 as then they just seemed to be called Whitney, and it's only Susan's marriage certificate that they called thenselves Whitney Greenly ( made themselves look a bit more interesting, i think it's mother's maiden name.)
Typical that Charles isn't with his family in 1841 (awkward person he is, giving his birth as Much Cowarne and then not appearing on their records!!) but it is good to know who he was with and that he was possiblly older, providing it is him. It's great to have all the info about the witness' as I can really check them out and see where the link is. Thanks once again for all this lovely information Francesca
