Researching Family from Ireland during potato fam

Altho you have to pay to view the census at Ancestry.com you can view the Index for 1930 Free.  They don't tell you that but I tried it just for the heck of it and it works.  Also the 1880 census is Free there too.  At least w/the index u can find where your family was which can give u a place to start.   Leagen
