That's fantastic! I have to admire your persistence
It would be amazing if you can find more about Annie.
My information (from an elderly relative, now sadly dead), is that Robert and Annie emigrated to Canada with their children (including Harry, who was Robert's stepson)some time early in the 20th Century, but it was all rather vague.
Thanks, again, for all your help. emberry

Ian that is fantastic! My aunt (who is in her late 80s and lives in the US) is Annie's granddaughter by Annie's marriage to Henry Bond, and I know she will be thrilled to know this.
I'm really grateful to you.
I've never had the occasion to look up census records in other countries or emigration records - is there any info on this site to point me in the right direction?
Thank you so much for what you have done.

There is an Ann TAYLOR birth Jun qtr 1856, St Ives, 3b 261. St Ives district covers Warboys.
There is only one Ann TAYLOR in 1861 in Warboys, but her father is Benjamin
A Benjamin TAYLOR married an Ann PAYRE or PAYNE at North Witchford, sep qtr 1837. North Witchford is in Cambridgshire
IGI has Benjamin TAYLOR and Anne PAYNE, 18 Aug 1837, Doddington, Cambridge. He was 24, father Adam TAYLOR. She was 20, father Benjamin PAYNE. Her age ties in with being 34 in 1851, but his does not. He was 44 in 1851, and 55 in 1861. Ann TAYLOR death Mar qtr 1857, St Ives, 3b 162, may be her as Benjamin is a widower in 1861.
The marriage cert for Annie to Henry BOND in 1875 will confirm whether her father is Benjamin or George.

Gosh, thank you Ian for all your efforts.
I'll obtain the marriage cert for Annie to Henry Bond, which will, as you say, confirm which of the Annies is the correct one.
You're a real star - thank you so much

Thank you, Ian, for all this research - you have found out so much.
I spoke to my elderly aunt in the US last night and she was thrilled with what I was able to tell her - I know she'll be fascinated by this latest addition, as I am.
I really appreciate your help .
