Stuck for a Christmas Gift idea for your fellow Genealogist?

How about trying something new, novel, a little wacky but possibly also a little useful?!

Map My Ancestors is a program that takes your existing GEDCOM files and plots them on a map using Google Earth.  The latest version of this program now supports the exporting of Points Of Interest (POI) files to GPS and SatNav devices from many major suppliers Tom To, Garmin, Naman and Navigon.

So now you can drive around and let your SatNav alert you whenever you get near a significant place from your family history!

I've just added a fun little feature to Map My Ancestors.

You can now export your Family Tree maps to use on your GPS or SatNav!

You can use the files as POI (Points Of Interest) data and so your SatNav can alert you whenever you are driving near to a significant place from your Family Tree!

Tom Tom, Garmin, Navman and Navigon systems are supported.
