I keep looking at it and she's not Rosa Salmone who was last seen in Leeds around 1805. She's Georgiana Burne-Jones, wife of the artist Edward Burne-Jones and she wasn't born until 1840. The portrait was painted by her brother-in-law Edward Poynter.

Do I get a prize for recognising her?  Wink  Grin

I must admit that I've been ignoring the irritating flickering yellow bit at the top of the page so if it was up to me I'd give you a prize just for looking at it and another for identifying her.   Grin
