Here are some websites to help with your hunt for burial details.
The different sites give various information from names of Cemeteries and their Provincial Location, and whether or not the records are available on-line.


Bab’s NZ Cemeteries On-line.

Pycroft - "NZ Government Online Genealogy Resources"
Check out the Regional section for Cemeteries.
Also has a number of central/local government online databases, central and local libraries including Archives NZ and a handy area location map for our overseas friends.

Fraser Genealogy has a list of all New Zealand cemeteries that are on-line

KiwiCelts, which has links to Cemeteries and other useful information.

These are not the only sites with information, but they will provide you with a good starting place.

More and more councils are putting their records online, so keep checking if the ones you are after aren’t there yet.
