looking for Murray-McDermott marriage

Hello,

I am looking for any information about a marriage between John Murray and Catherine McDermott, which probably happened in the 1870s.   I know they had a child (John) in 1879, but I don't know if he was the first child.  I have a birth cert for this child John, he was born in Cappagh, which is in parish of Cloncurry.  I guess they were married in Cloncurry or perhaps in Kilcock.

I would be really grateful for any pointers on how to get the exact date and location of this wedding.  I will then get a marriage cert.

there seems to be a marriage on the IFHF site between a John Murray and Catherine McDermott in the RC parish of Kilcock, Co Kildare in 1879

see : www.irish-roots.net (its a pay per view site - €5 per record transcipt)

since the wedding is after 1864 it should be possible to get a civil cert - see the GRO website for details on how to order : www.groireland.ie
