Does anyone have access to the Parish Records for Redmire or Reith and would be willing to do a look up for me? I am looking for the marriage of John Tilston and Elizabeth (surname unknown) circa 1830 in Redmire or surrounding area.

The 1851 census gives their place of birth as John born Redmire and Elizabeth born Reith. Their eldest son John was born in Redmire circa 1830 later children were born in Liverpool.

Have you looked at genuki or google to see what links there are for Redmire?  There is a lot of information on the web courtesy of an experienced genealogist.  http://www.redmire.net/redmire/    is a start.    Another good link would be the Upper Dales Family History Group.  Part of the Cleveland FHS and they all know a lot about the area.

Hi not sure if this is any  help,i noticed on 1851 and 1841 census there son john tilston was born abt 1832 and the rest of the children born liverpool ,there is a marriage on the IGI for a john tilston to an elizabeth winsley 24th feb 1832 st peters church street liverpool lancashire
