Can anyone help

Thomas Gilling (born 1806 in Rushden Northamptonshire) married Sarah Faulkner circa 1832, I have found them in the 1841 Census as married but thereafter I have lost track of them. Their children I can also track.

Hi Ridgeback,

Edward (as Edwin) is in service (a butcher) at Hardingstone in 1851
HO107/1738 172 24

Catherine is in service at Northampton St Giles
HO107/1739 85 13

Charles is possibly staying with his grandmother Sarah Gilling at Northampton St Sepulchre
HO107/1739 419 27

Not sure what has become of the others  Undecided

Ooops, sorry - I realise you already had this. I'm looking at the 1851 census for Charles, Avery and the other grandchildren and I'm trying to make out what it says above "granddau" for Avery - I have a feeling it's orphans but I'm not 100% sure  Undecided

Hi Ridgeback.

Having just sent you the marriage details for Thomas and Sarah and a
possible marriage for Edward F Gillings then this is him in 1861.

RG9/931 Pg 8 Folio 38 Sch 38 No. 17 Althorp St (Grocers Shop).

Edward F Gilling, Isabella, etc

Edward died and was buried at Hardingstone Jul 5 1864 aged 32.

Just keeping my hand in until the New Year.  Smiley

There is also a possible burial for Mary aged 14 on 1861 census
buried on Aug 21 1864 aged 17 and a possible daughter of
Edward and Isabella named Sarah Feb 3 1857 aged 3yrs 11m.
