am sort of connected to strikes from south hill due to a george gilbert marrying grace strike in the 1840's at south hill. grace's dad was william strike as was george gilberts dad also named william.
You dont happen to have any more info on this grace strike and george gilbert do you?Huh Isiwig is searching same family on this site. Trying to track georges birth and his fathers marraige Huh?

Grace was bapt 3rd Oct 1824 at Southill, parents William Strike (1795-1848) and Elizabeth Stephens who married 18th Feb 1819 in Southill.
