Bucks Family History Society have a transcription of Radnage.  You go to their website into database searches and request a surname search for BMDs or join the Society and you can borrow a copy of the transcription for the cost of postage provided you are in the UK.  Radnage has not been published yet.

Hi,

In Radnage PR  Baptism

21 OCt 1821    Ann Child of Ann Seymor, Lacemaker

01.03.1818   Thomas child of Elizabeth Seymor, Lacemaker

So it seems to run in the family!

I cannot see any marriages for Ann until

17th Dec 1842   John X White  of Radnage Common
Ann Seymour   lace Maker of Radnage common

no details about fathers were published.

Hi,

I am only looking at a transcript of Radnage PR, so you will have to get the actual records checked out to find if your ancestor was Ann or Jane.

It might be worth phoning Aylesbury at the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies and ask them to check the records out.  They were very helpful when I found a mistake on a previous transcript in Maids Moreton.

Sorry to add to your investigations.

Hi,

Thankyou for this  Peony and Jenny .  I am thinking of  spending a day in the family history centre in high  Wycombe because I have so many roots in Buckinghamshire.  Do you know if the genealogist website has PR for Radnage.

Hi,

I am with Jenny on recommending www.bucksfhs.org.uk.

You can borrow the transcript of Radnage PR's from them for the cost of an annual subscription (I think it is £8) and postage.  They will also do one name searches which can be emailed direct.

I have yet to get into High Wycombe, as I usually make the trek over to Aylesbury.

Happy New Year
