Here is the basic information about the first of my HAGANs that came to Canada.
   
The "first" of my HAGANs, came from County Monaghan,  to Prince Edward Island (PEI) Canada about 1840.
I say County Monaghan because of similar place names there and in PEI (e.g. Emyvale, Trough, Kelly's Cross).
But they may also have come from County Tyrone.  I have not been able to find any documentation in Ireland
on my GG Grandfather listed below.  As they were Roman Catholic, I am told it is very difficult if not impossible
to find any RC church records prior to about 1845.

            Thomas died __-___-____.   Bridget is believed to have died in Ireland.

                   i       Andrew (Andy) Hagan #185 b. __-Feb-1814.
                   ii      Francis Hagan #180 b. __-___-1819.
                   iii     Thomas James Hagan #114 b. 31-Dec-1826.
                   iv      Patrick Hagan #19 b. 9-Jan-1831.
