Bucks Farm , Cookley, Halesworth
« on: Sunday 04 January 09 09:55 UTC (UK) »

I am trying to find out why Bucks Farm,Cookley, Halesworth near Walpole is so named. I am hoping it is named after a family called Buck(e), who I believe may have been farmers around this area circa 1770~1790's plus or minus a few years.

Could someone look in suffolk directories to see when Bucks farm first appeared. I would assume a modern name. Current owners do not know.

happy new year
