James Christopher Egan & family from Dublin to Australia
« on: Sunday 04 January 09 11:10 UTC (UK) »

Looking for my gr gr Grandfather James Christopher Egan born Dublin 1828 approx. James married Sarah McVeigh born Armagh  1830. James lived in Geelong Victoria and Strathbogie area of Victoria Australia. I  am looking for his entry point into Australia. We know he married Sarah in 1854 and don't know how long he was living in Australia before that time. James father was Thomas Egan a bootmaker and also do not know if/how he arrived with spouse   - any suggestions would  be helpful .....    thanks!
