cheshire parish registars-Acton/Nantwich

I am looking for the birth of a Ralph Barnett born abt. 1760. He married a Mary Shenton in 1781 at Acton. His eldest child was born at Acton the rest at Burland.
I visited Cheshire Records Office last week and think I may have missed it or that it was in Latin. Can you help please?

As the birth you are looking for is in the 1700's why dont you have a look on the Family Search org site. Then go to the I.G.I. I used to find the further back i went the easier it got to find ancestors.Just a suggestion you might have already this.

Thanks for the tip. I have tried Family search and I have also tried parish records for Acton , Nantwich & Audlem churches.

Nantwich parish records are online here: http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/

so if he is not there at least you can eliminate Nantwich.

I am also researching Ralph Barnett and Mary Shenton.  Also their son Ralph who married Catherine Pratchett.  Just starting.
