Hard to be sure with so little of the writing to compare but looks like _ _ _agh. Lots of townlands in Co. Tyrone end in 'agh':
Annagh (2), Attagh, Ballagh (2), Beragh (2), Envagh, Feragh, Laragh (2), Lenagh, Moyagh, Omagh are the ones I found using www.seanruad.com (be sure to change default setting from exact match).
Can you give details of census page so we can look at more of the page?

I thought it could be Beragh, Brockagh, Cappagh, Coagh or (most likely??) Cranagh but I need to know for sure...

It is the 1911 census for the Wembley/Hendon area in Middlesex.
A bigger piece of the section is below

Thanks for help so far, much appreciated.

Hi,
I also think that it is Omagh. The two outer legs of the "m" are there and with a little imagination it is possible to visualise the connection in between.

Eve B

Looks to me like Cranagh (townland of Oughtboy, civil parish of Badoney/Bodoney Upper).

And how did you manage to photocopy the 1911 Census?

Aghadowey
www.seanruad.com is based on  the index to the Townlands and Towns, Parishes and Baronies of Ireland 1851. Things have changed about a bit since then.

I am aware of that but it is still a valuable source to find places in Ireland and as the original query was from 1911 census it was worth checking the site to find possibilites.
