Hi Papakura,
I looked on the 1851 census and the only William Orr I found was in Kirkmaiden
with his mother
Janet    Orr Head W74  Farmer of 4 acres   born kirkmaiden
William Orr Son    U39   Ag lab                     born Kirkmaiden

William Orr married Agnes McClelland 21 April 1853 Kirkmaiden, I can't find Hugh but there is a John born 19 Jan 1856. The best thing to do is ask if someone can do a look up on the 1861 census to find them.

Thanks for that, someone did do a check on the  1961 census for me and couldn't find them, they may have gone to Ireland as Hugh was married there in 1871
