Piggot or Pigot in Kingoldrum and beyond
« on: Thursday 10 February 05 00:55 GMT (UK) »

Traced back to David Piggot b1729 but 'goverment' info is sketchy. Seems to be 2 families in Kingoldrum. Connected? David's father would appear to be a John Pigot b1698 who 'migrated' from Alves in Moray. Any information on this line would be very welcome.
David married an Isobel Pluthy or Phithy in Kingoldrum in
1745. Any ideas on the origins of this name?

Many thanks
Doug
