Valeswood ETD Ltd seems to be at 61 Salisbury Road Moseley now. You can even e-mail them!

i have found Henry Bailey who married an Edith thompson in 1915 in kings norton i am hoping that this is the right Henry, any idea if i can look up english voters list as i think he was fairly wealthy so must have voted? any idea's beside's ordering certificate? Ness Huh

As Tricia said, Salisbury Road is in Moseley too.....and meets Russell Road at a junction.  No 61 is 100 ft or so away from the junction so not sure it could ever be called Russell Road.

Henry Bailey B 1879   birmingham
Eliza Bailey  ( brown) b 1850  Birmingham   ( their mother)
Fanny Bailey  B 1874 bimingham       never married
Eliza Bailey ( maybe under elizabeth) b 1872 birmingham never married

i do know that may be the sisters Eliza and Fanny may have died after 1939 as i have a photo of one of them but not sure who and also a post card from all three, Mother Eliza, daughter Eliza and fanny in 1928 and the postcard is the photo of the house "parkfield" so they were still in that area. but there is a story that one of them was killed aound 1939 in a car accident and my grandfather was driving ( Lewis harry Bailey) when he was visiting them from Australia. but dont have any evidence, well can't find any.

i have been looking on free bdm, where else can i look? Sorry to be a pain Tricia  Embarrassed

I don't think that I have found any 'recent' deaths on freebmd ~ they are still in the process of transcribing the later ones, I think.

I'd have to check, but I think I found my more up-to-date deaths on Ancestry.

Hi All that has helped me along the way with the Bailey Family, i have finally found the house in Moseley, it used to be 61 Russell Road, Moseley but is now 6 Russell rd.
i may send a letter to the people in the home to see if they may know any info on the Bailey Family that lived there many years ago.
