I have a photograph of my grandfather in St Joseph's School band when they played in Foynes in 1916. I know he and his siblings were orphaned, and would like to try to find out more about how he ended up there. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Was St Joseph's just for boys, and if so, where did the girls go?
