I'm, looking for any info on the Castlecraig Estate, Blyth Bridge, West Linton. It was formerly called Kirkurd House. My main interests are the farms on the estate particularly Ladyurd and Scotstounbank / Scotston Bank/ Scotstonbank or any other variations. I believe it was at one time called Whinnybraes. The estate was split up on sale in the 1940's

If you do an online search for 'a history of Peeblesshire' you will find that Google books have William Chambers book online. It may not answer your question but you may find the book interesting. Both Ladyurd and Scotstoun bank are mentioned. Rae
