My GGGGG GF would have been a City fan....probably

I have a possible relative showing on the 1901 census. They are living in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. On the 1891 census it says they were born in Buckinghamshire. The 1901 census is not easy to read but it looks like Buckinghamshire, Chalvey.
Can anyone tell me if there is such a place? Which district it would come under for civil registration? Finally, geographically, is it anywhere near Thame, Oxfordshire.
Many thanks

Google is really good for these sort of queries:-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalvey
Registration Districts:-
1837 - 1901 - Eton
Wexham after that .... I think .... but you can google that too, and use an online map like www.multimap.com to ascertain proximity to Thame etc ....

Chalvey is part of what is now Slough which was for a long time the parish of Upton cum Chalvey. It is thus quite a long way from Thame probably about twenty miles away.

Thanks for responding. Still posing me a problem this one but at least I have some geographical references to work with.
