Fedamore baptism record? COMPLETED

I'd like to obtain the RC baptism record for my gg grandfather, Jeffrey Keating, baptised 1808 in Fedamore. I've just discovered that the National Library in Dublin has these records - is there anyone who can help with a lookup? I know his father's name was also Jeffrey - I'm looking for the name of his mother.

Apologies in advance if this is an impossible request - I'm not familiar with Irish records or how easy they are to access.

the Irish Family History Foundation website has parish records for Co. Limerick :

these are in the form of transcripts, the index search is free - it costs €5 to view a record detail.

The original film should be available at the National Library in Dublin - www.nli.ie - Diocese of LIMERICK, parish Fedamore film number P.2409

Bapt. & Marr. Oct. 29, 1806 - July 16, 1813
Baptisms Jan. 1, 1814 - Jan. 29, 1822
Marriages Jan. 9, 1814 - Nov. 26, 1825
Baptisms July 30, 1854 - Dec. 25, 1880
Marriages Aug., 1854 - Dec. 27, 1880

looks like the baptism of Jeffrey would be very close to the start of the records!

Hi Shane,

Thanks for your reply. The IFHF site is where I found the reference :-) I don't like to use my credit card online (past experience). I emailed them and asked if I could ring and order over the phone but apparently they don't have that facility. Then I found the National Library has the records on film so I was hoping sks was going there and could do a lookup for me :-)

There is only one Jeffrey Keating born 1808 on the Foundation website

You should give it a try with your credit card- it is well worth it!!

Church Baptism    Keating    Jeffery    1808    Co. Limerick

I found some of my family members there & had no problem with credit card payments.

I was able to obtain the baptism record by emailing the parish priest who was very helpful :-)
