Is anyone researching the descendants of Archibald Flockhart (or Flockart), a Flaxdresser, originally from Alloa/Clackmannan, born Alloa 1772, moved to Dundee with his wife Helen Yule (bap. Alloa 1775, bur. Dundee 4/8/1831) and died Dundee 30/12/1838.

They had at least 7 children Helen, b. Clackmannan 1796 (m. Robert Morrison); John b. Tulliallan 1797; Margaret b. Tulliallan 1800; Peter, Weaver, b. Alloa c. 1809, bur. Howff 1830; Margaret b. Alloa c. 1811, d. Lochee 1889 (m. 1832 George Wright); Thomas, Jute Weaver, b. Alloa c. 1813, d. 1893 (m. Mary Wright & Elizabeth Smith) & Robert, Flaxdresser, b. Alloa c. 1816, d. Liff & Benvie poorhouse 1876 (m. Agnes Sinclair).

After Helen Yule's death Archibald married again in 1832 Ann McCormick and had at least 2 further children, Jean B. b. 1833, bur. Howff 1834 & Ann b. 1835 bur. Howff 1839.

Thomas had at least 7 children all born at Lochee, Dundee - by 1st marriage: George b. 1833; Robert b. 1835 (m. Mary Stocks Proudfoot); Margaret b. May 1837 (m. James Gow, Longforgan); Mary b. 1837; Isabella b. 1841, committed suicide 1903; Mary Ann b. 1846 (m. James Mitchell, Millworker); and by 2nd marriage: Fanny b. 1852 (m. Alexander Watson).
