Annie Parker.
« on: Monday 16 November 09 20:36 UTC (UK) »

Hello

Please can anyone help with Annie Elizabeth Parker who died aged 26 in Nantwich in June 1930. She married a John T Stockton, ( maybe in 1926). She had at least one child George Stockton. I dont know if she was from Nantwich originally. Her father was called George Parker. It's my husband's grandmother.

We dont have any information on either the Parkers or the Stocktons. Sorry to be so vague.  Embarrassed

Best Regards
Bernie

Hiya Bernie....
www.freebmd.org.uk Stockton John T to Parker Annie E mar qtr 1926 Nantwich 8a 470 ,so then go to
www.cheshirebmd.org.uk better info on here
1926 Stockton John T to Parker Annie E at St Marys church Acton  reg Cheshire Central ref 1001/5/207
2 children only
R****** L Stockton b sep qtr 1928 Nantwich 8a 479 (can`t post name as he may still be alive)
George Stockton June qtr 1930 Nantwich 8a 510
go to www.freebmd.org.uk , click on births ...surname Stockton ...spouses surname Parker and you will get the details.........
on freebmd  Stockton John Thomas b sep qtr 1901 Nantwich 8a 338
on cheshbmd Stockton John T Nantwich  reg Cheshire Central  NA/43/052 (same person ,just different sites)
only 2 possibles for Annie Elizabeth Parker b 1903 / 1904 (26 at time of death in 1930) NO Births in Nantwich
Annie Elizabeth Parker b mar qtr 1903 Belper 7b 736
Annie Elizabeth Parker b Dec qtr 1903 Doncaster  9c 927
so if we calculate that in JUNE 1930 ,the Belper Annie would have been 31
the Doncaster Annie would have been 30....so the Doncaster birth looks the better bet.....of course you can only confirm all this by buying certs... ..good luck...allan

Hiya Allan
Thank you so much for your help. I will look to find out who Georges brother is/was. George is still alive, but I have never heard mention of a brother.

I have attached Annies gravestone picture, she is buried with her fathers second wife, he went on to be buried with his first wife. I believe that John Stockton remarried and he is buried with his second wife. I have no idea who they all are though Roll Eyes

Best Regards
Bernie
Sorry it wont let me upload the image.
