« on: Saturday 27 June 09 09:35 UTC (UK) »

Is there anyone who lives in a place called West Derby.? I hope to come to Liverpool in the next few weeks.
There is a family History centre there In West Derby Mill Street.
Has anyone been there and how easy is it to get to.Does one have to make an appointment.?
And how to find it from  the city. Thankyou. Lep

Are you sure you have the right address ?  There is a Mill Street in Derby, but (as far as I'm aware) in Liverpool West Derby there's only a Mill Lane.

What sort of Family History Centre is it ?  LDS ?  County registry ?

Hi

It looks like its the LDS Family History Centre at 4 Mill Bank, West Derby that Lep is referring to.

Lep, what exactly are you looking for?

Andy.

I agree it is LDS centre at Mill Bank.  Best to ring and ask about opening - the LDS centre is run by volunteers.  Try 0151-252 0614 in day time (correct when I last used it), but it is not manned full time.  They will know about route and buses from city centre - about 20 to 30 minutes ride.  There is parking space on site.
Try 'Latter Day Saints Liverpool' on Google for location map.
