I'm " A* challenged " right now ( meaning I don't have it !! ) .... and I wondered if I could ask if somebody could look for 6 brothers on the WW1 US draft cards for me please ?
Lawrence W. Gould, 1st Lt. James E. Gould, Major William B. Gould, Jr., Lt. Herbert R. Gould, 1st Lt. Ernest M. Gould, and Frederick C. Gould
I'd be very appreciative !
Thanking you in advance !
Annie

No James in Massachusetts and I don't see a William in Massachusetts either. There are 2 Herberts, both in New Jersey:
one born 10 Sept. 1883 and the other 19 Nov. 1895 - which do you favor?

Hi Annie -
Ancestry was too slow last night to continue and it was getting late. I'll get back on this later - have to go see a man about a dog [well, actually a dog of a translation]. It looks like they were mostly in Massachusetts and didn't have draft registration docs. Maybe the family was so military minded they all volunteered as soon as war was in the air.
