Thanks for this

Do you have a wife and any other children for Thomas Cowham (bn 1760)?

Going further back:
In my tree I have John Cowham (1733-1792), but no parents for him.

Mary Parker (bn 1728). Parents: Thomas Parker (bn 1690) and Mary.

I have Thomas Parker's parents as Thomas Parker and Reuth.

I think all the information I have came from Ancestry and the IGI.

Hi Skull,

I have a record of three children Thomas Cowham bn 1784; Sarah Cowham bn 1783 and Sally Cowham bn 1782.  Unfortunately I don't know who Thomas bn 1760 married.

Thank you for the info relating to John Cowham.

I am also descended from John Cowham Parker, he was my grandmothers grandfather, I am trying to trace my ancestry and I am new to this site.
Can I ask where "Emma" got her information about his parents, William Parker 1743-1820 and also his mother Betty Bronston Brows died 17/12/1799. I am a part of the Australian connection. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi burrod1 and welcome to rootschat
How nice to find possible relatives on the site.  If they do not respond to this post then you can send them a personal message by clicking on the scroll under their name.  Newcomers need two posts to use the pm system so if you reply to this you should be OK.

I'm sorry Andrea what do you mean by "the Scroll" under their name.

I can see how you join to the conversation, like I have just done, but "Emma"s comment was halfway down the page and I specifically wanted to ask her. Please explain to an infidel.

Under everybody's name on the left of the post is a green scroll or a grey box with picture in it.  Clicking on either of those gives you the option to contact them by personal message.  Have a look at our Beginners' board for tips on how to use rootchat too.
