Any information on the Payne family in Rickmansworth would be appreciated.  My Great Great Grandmothers maiden name was Dorrofield.

If CG66 is looking for someone researching Payne family in Rickmansworth, I'm here!
Finally pinned down my grandfather's birth in Rickmansworth around 1875. Had been told that he was born in Newbury area of Berkshire and that his father was a watercress grower! My great grandfather's name was James Payne and, I believe the brother of CG66's great great grandfather.  Which I guess makes us third cousins once removed.
I only discovered my grandfather at home with his family in 1911 CR so as yet I haven't got very far.  Can just let you know that James PAIN married Ann Elizabeth Paddick in Watford area in 1870. And I have got the family in Church Street in 1861CR.
Let me know if you want to compare notes.
