Army Marriages Abroad

I am looking for my Great Great Grandfathers marriage. He was in the army in Fermoy, Ireland and could be in the GRO list Army Marriages Abroad vol 821 1853- 1890. I have asked GRO if they could search the list for me to see if my ancestor is there but the reply I got is not helpful.  I have checked Free BMD & Find My Past.com as they suggest but have found nothing.  I have also tried the National Archives. Can anyone tell me where I could look at the GRO Index.

Army marriages are not on the GRO index.
You also have to use a different link on the gro page to order.
